What we collect when you form and run a company with PowerLaunch, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

MYCG AI TECH LLC operates PowerLaunch and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact contact@powerlaunch.solutions for anything about your data.

2. What we collect

Account and order data: your name, email, password hash, the company you are forming, the plan and state you chose, and billing address. Payment card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store the card number.

Formation data: the names, addresses, ownership shares and, where a state, the IRS or a bank requires it, identity documents of the company's owners and officers, and a description of the business.

Platform data: transactions, invoices and documents you connect or upload to your MyCG.AI workspace.

Conversations: messages you send to the site assistant, emails you send us, and enquiry forms, including the assistant transcript when you ask us to continue by email.

Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you arrived, collected through cookies and similar technology described below.

3. How we use it

To form and maintain your company, file with states and the IRS, provide registered agent and address services, keep your books and prepare returns; to run your account and portal; to take payment and prevent fraud; to answer you and continue assistant conversations by email; to send transactional email about your order, deadlines and renewals; to send product news you can opt out of; to improve the site and the assistant; and to meet legal obligations such as tax record keeping and identity verification.

Assistant conversations are used to answer you and, with your request, to hand you to the team. They are not used to train AI models.

4. Who we share it with

Authorities and partners you instruct us to deal with: the Secretary of State of the formation state, the IRS, the registered agent provider where one is appointed, and banks or processors you ask us to introduce you to.

Service providers that process data for us under contract: Stripe for payments, Supabase for the database and sign-in, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email, Anthropic for the assistant's language model, Google for analytics and sign-in where you use it, and Plaid, Mercury, Wise and Stripe for bank and payment feeds you connect in the platform.

Licensed tax professionals and bookkeepers we engage to deliver your plan, bound by confidentiality.

Where the law requires, to comply with a valid legal request, protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party advertising.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a strictly necessary cookie for sign-in, session storage for your assistant chat and checkout progress, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and which campaigns bring visitors, including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement. Analytics can be refused in the cookie notice or in your browser; the site works without them. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

6. International transfers

We are a US company and data is stored and processed in the United States and, for the database, in the region shown in your portal. If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, transfers are made under standard contractual clauses or another mechanism approved for that region. Filing your company inevitably places some of your data with US public authorities, as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

Account, order, filing and financial records are kept while your company is active with us and for seven years after, which is the period tax and company law expect records to be available. Assistant transcripts and enquiries are kept for two years unless attached to an order. Identity documents are deleted once the check they were collected for is complete unless a law requires longer. Technical logs are kept for 90 days.

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of anything wrong, deletion where we no longer need it, restriction of processing, portability of data you gave us, and to object to marketing at any time. Residents of the EEA, UK, Switzerland, California and other places with privacy laws have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone.

Email contact@powerlaunch.solutions from the address on your account. We answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to the data protection authority where you live. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it for their role, database access rules are enforced per user, and card data never touches our systems. No method is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

10. Children

The Services are for adults forming and running businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and delete it if we learn we have.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes are announced by email or in your portal before they take effect, and the date at the top always shows the current version.
