Do I need to be a US citizen or resident?+
No. Founders from anywhere in the world can own a US LLC or C-Corp. You do not need a visa, a Social Security Number or a US address. PowerLaunch provides the address and the registered agent.
How long does formation take?+
Filing takes one to three business days in Wyoming, Kentucky and Colorado, and one to two weeks in most other states. The EIN follows, usually within two to four weeks for non-resident owners, or within days with expedited processing.
Which state should I choose?+
Wyoming for most online businesses: low fees, no state income tax, strong privacy. Delaware if you plan to raise venture capital as a C-Corp. Your own state if you live in the US. The checkout recommends one from three questions.
LLC or C-Corp?+
An LLC is simpler and cheaper to run and is right for consulting, e-commerce, SaaS and agencies. A C-Corp suits founders raising from US investors or planning stock options. Both are available on every plan.
What does 'plus state fees' mean?+
Every state charges its own filing fee, from $35 to $500. We show it on the first step of checkout and bill it at cost. There is no markup and nothing is added later.
What is the difference between Launch, Run and Scale?+
Launch forms the company and gives you the legal essentials. Run adds the annual filings, tax filings and bookkeeping that keep it compliant. Scale adds a dedicated bookkeeper, expedited EIN, free dissolution and call scheduling.
Can I upgrade later?+
Yes. Move from Launch to Run or Scale at any time from your portal. You pay the difference for the remaining term.
Is Scale available monthly?+
Yes, at $329 per month plus state fees. Annual billing saves around 25 percent.
Can I open a US bank account?+
Yes. Once your EIN arrives we introduce you to Mercury, Wise Business or Relay. Approval is the bank's decision, and most PowerLaunch founders are approved within a week.
Can I use Stripe?+
Yes. A US LLC with an EIN and a US bank account can open a Stripe account and accept cards worldwide.
What filings does a non-resident owned LLC have every year?+
Federal: Form 5472 with a pro forma 1120 by 15 April. State: an annual report or franchise tax, depending on the state. Run and Scale include both.
Do I need to file a BOI report?+
Under the current FinCEN rule, companies formed in the US are exempt from beneficial ownership reporting. We track the rule and will tell you if it changes.
What is MyCG.AI?+
MyCG.AI is the operating platform behind every PowerLaunch plan: automated accounting on live bank feeds, invoicing, reports, a compliance calendar and an AI assistant grounded in your books. Launch includes the assistant and vault. Run and Scale include the full finance workspace.
How do I reach a human?+
Book a free 20-minute consultation on Google Meet from the Book a consultation page, or email contact@powerlaunch.solutions and a member of the team replies within one business day. The site assistant answers most questions instantly.
What is your guarantee?+
If a mistake in your formation is ours, we refund that part of your fee and fix the filing at our cost. State fees are paid to the state and are not refundable by anyone.
